    • Christian Roots

We’re the only Christian Montessori education in Denton County and in addition to chapel, our students experience Good Shepherd lessons based on Bible stories.

  • Our goal as a Christian Montessori school is to nurture students in academics, independence, creativity, service to others, critical thinking, leadership, Christian values and a love of learning.

MES is an outreach of The Episcopal Church of The Annunciation, located in Lewisville, Texas. Founded in 1969, MES serves as the area’s leader in Christian Montessori education. MES is an accredited member of the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools.

The school staff, parents and church work together to develop the mind, spirit and physical body of every student. We seek to encourage students to use their gifts and talents for the glory of God.

These Core Values guide all we do:

    • Provide Biblical training
    • Create individualized instruction for each child following the Montessori Method and philosophy
    • Present a challenging academic program that recognizes diversity
    • Encourage the full physical, mental and spiritual development of the child
    • Involve every staff member in teaching every child
    • Build a partnership with parents
    • Integrate school staff, parents and church for a strong unified community

    • Years

Established in 1969, we enjoy a rich 47 year tradition in the heart of Lewisville and Flower Mound.

    • Teacher Tenure

Our staff and dedicated teachers have a combined 70 years of tenure with Montessori Episcopal!

  • Our Programs

Montessori Episcopal has three dedicated programs.
  • We provide three main educational programs with six to eighteen children each aged twelve months to six years of age.

  • Each program uses the Montessori Method, which is an approach to education that embraces each child’s natural desire to learn and honors the need for independence and self-sufficiency. We believe the way children learn best is in a hands-on, concrete manner using all of their senses. The teacher, as guide, constantly presents new areas of discovery in a sequential, orderly fashion.

    • “I am so thankful I discovered Montessori Episcopal School. The staff and teachers are amazingly gifted and I’ve seen our children’s knowledge, love of learning and leadership grow by leaps and bounds. They will be exceptionally prepared for Primary School when the time comes. I couldn’t ask for a better education or school.”

Ashley Acker, Parent of 2 MES Students
    • “The teachers at Montessori Episcopal School are one of a kind. They have helped both of my children grow, not just academically, but emotionally as well. Montessori lays such a great foundation for life long learning, and I know it will contribute to their future success.”
