Fr David W.
Holland has served as Rector of
The Episcopal Church of The Annunciation
and Montessori Episcopal School since
1990. His involvement with MES has
been as Rector of the parish and Board
Member as well as Chaplain during this
period. Annunciation is proud of its
Day School and both parish and school work
hard to carry out our particular missions
sharing much of the same space.
Fr
David is a graduate of Missouri State
University and the General Theological
Seminary in New York City. He has three children; his
youngest is an alumnus of MES. He
has been involved in Episcopal
Schools since his ordination. He
founded one school, has been chaplain in
two parish schools and helped renew
another Episcopal School in Houston.
Montessori Episcopal School is a vital
part of the outreach ministry of The
Episcopal Church of The Annunciation
and as Rector of the Parish; he is
required by Church Canon Law to be
involved in the life and the ministry of
MES. Fr David takes this ministry
quite seriously and can be seen regularly
involved in the day to day life of the
school.

Cindy
Simpson-Scharff has been a member
of The Episcopal Church of the
Annunciation and affiliated with
Montessori Episcopal School since 1997.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree
in business administration, and is
currently employed as a consumer
healthcare sales representative with a
major pharmaceutical company. Cindy is
an active member of the church serving
as a Sunday School teacher, Children's
Chapel Volunteer, First Communion Class
Team member, and Angel Meals provider.
She was an assistant teacher at MES from
2002-2005, and earned her Montessori
Teacher Certificate in 2004. Cindy and
her husband, Mike, have been married for
16 years. They have two daughters, Annalisa and Aubrey, both of whom
attended MES.
Jeannine Couvillion is a graduate of
LSU with a B.S. in Accounting, M.S. in
Information Systems and Decision
Sciences, and a concentration in
Internal Audit Manaqer. She has been a
member of Annunciation since 2005.
Jeanine and her husband, Brandon,
recently had their son, Michael,
Baptized at Annunciation.

Deanna Liss
is the Clinical Psychologist for the
Inpatient Psychiatric unit at Children's
Medical Center of Dallas and an Assistant
Professor in the Division of Psychology at
the University of Texas Southwestern
Medical Center at Dallas. Her previous
non-profit service includes serving on the
Board of Trustees for the Metroplex
Parents of Multiples and the
International Dyslexia Association, as
well as serving as a Court Appointed
Special Advocate (CASA) for children in
the foster care system. Deanna has been
a
member of Annunciation since 2003. She
has 6 year old fraternal twin daughters,
Emily and Abigail.

Cricket Wright is a member of Church of
the Annunciation and assists with
teaching Sunday School as well as being
a member of the Daughters of the King.
She has been married to Tom for ten
years and has two preschool aged
children. Her daughter is currently
enrolled at MES. Cricket is a graduate
of St. Andrew's Episcopal School, the
University of North Carolina and holds
her M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling.

Joanne Teeters holds a B.S. in Public
Health from James Madison University and
a Master in Health Administration from
Virginia Commonwealth University-Medical
College of Virginia. She has held
positions in hospital administration
with academic medical centers and
physician practice management with
community health systems.
Joanne has been and is an active community
volunteer. She has served as a youth
group advisor, nursery coordinator and
is an active member of altar guild.
Joanne has also been an active volunteer
with the Junior League and has held
board positions in finance and
fundraising, as well as served as chair
of community projects. Since her move to
Texas, Joanne has become active with the
Greater Lewisville Early Childhood PTA
and is currently Treasurer.
Joanne is married to husband, Dale. Their
son, William, is a student at MES.

member and Senior Warden of Annunciation
from 2005-2007.

Rod McGinnis
is an elementary school administrator,
Assistant Principal, in Lewisville ISD. He
is certified by the State Board of
Education to teach grades 1-8 and has
taught in grades 2 & 4. Rod serves on
the Vestry of The Episcopal Church of The
Annunciation, 2005 to 2008. He is chair
the Christian Education & Music committee
and serves as MES Liaison to the Vestry.

Tracy Miller
has been a
member of The Episcopal Church of The
Annunciation since 1974. She was a
volunteer as Children’s Ministries
Coordinator for six years, and has been a
full time Church Staff member since 2003.
Tracy’s current responsibilities include
Children’s, Youth and Adult Christian
Education Coordinator, Lay Ministry
Coordinator and Advisor the Montessori
Episcopal School Board of Trustees.
Tracy has been a Sunday School Teacher,
Children’s Chapel Teacher, VBS Director
and is a certified Special Education
Aide. She also teaches Junior
Achievement, is a longtime PTA Board
Member at College Street Elementary
School and is a member of the Christian
Formation Commission for the Episcopal
Diocese of Dallas. Tracy resides in
Lewisville with her husband Mike of
thirteen years. Their two children
Meredith and Benjamin, both attended
Montessori Episcopal School.
