2008-2009
Financial Aid

Financial Aid

MES can offer limited financial aid to those families who submit an application for partial assistance. MES does not receive any government funding, depending entirely upon receipt of tuition and fundraisers for all its programs. The partial financial assistance offered is funded entirely from the operating budget of the school. It is hoped that the Financial Aid provided will help provide a quality Montessori educational experience for students who might not otherwise be able to take advantage of what MES has to offer. All information submitted to obtain financial aid is kept strictly confidential.

To give you some idea of whether or not your family might qualify for partial financial aid, below are some of the eligibility guidelines. While the guidelines have some flexibility, they are indicative of the families who have received financial aid in prior years, with all financial aid awarded on the basis of need.

v     Families with exceptional circumstances.

§         Disabled child

§         Disabled parent

§         Parent unemployed for six months or longer

§         Single parent families

v     Families with incomes below Board set policy.

All parents who are recipients of financial aid are expected to donate their time to MES. This time may be for fund raising, classroom help or even maintenance work: helping to paint, grounds maintenance, office help, etc.

For more information or to request an application by mail, please call the school office of Montessori Episcopal School, (972) 221-3533.

All requests for financial aid must be received by March 7, 2008

Montessori Episcopal School accepts students regardless of race, color, religion, creed, or national origin. Currently enrolled students, siblings and Annunciation Parishioners are given first priority. Waiting list applicants are enrolled on a first come, first serve basis. MES reserves the right to make placements (including, but not limited to class lotteries) based on classroom needs, staffing, availability, and ratios.
