At the beginning of every school year, MES has a volunteer form that is filled out to support the school in its activities throughout the year. Within that form, you specify whether you would like to coordinate or help with an activity. MES typically fills the coordinator positions at the start of the school year.

The following volunteer positions are available:

• Car Line Organizer (perhaps the most vital position in the school!)
• Breakfast Bites-breakfast with Moms and Dads, once in fall and another in spring
• Phonics Moms-assist teachers with working individually with children on the phonic sounds
• Red Wheel Sales-Pies, Cookie Dough Sales in the Fall
• Teacher Appreciation – Spring
• Spring Dinner and Auction! (Lots of fun and great opportunity to meet more parents)
• Parent Work Day
• Book Fair Co-Chair – Fall and/or Spring, needs to be able to work about 15 hours during the week of the Book Fair.
• Uniform Resale-Spring
• Fall and Spring Flower Sales
• Family Events Coordinator
